Vice President Gibran Supports the Success of the International Robosport Tournament FIRA Indonesia Open 2025 in Solo

Jakarta, Vice President of the Republic of Indonesia, Gibran Rakabuming Raka, expressed his full support for the implementation of the International Robosport Tournament FIRA Indonesia Open 2025 which will be held on June 25-29, 2025 at Solo Techno Park, Solo City.

This prestigious international event will bring together innovators and robotics athletes from various countries to compete in various robosport branches, which are part of a series of FIRA (Federation of International Robot-sport Association) activities.

"Solo is ready to be a good host for the International Robosport Tournament FIRA Indonesia Open 2025. Vice President Gibran Rakabuming Raka fully supports this activity because it is in line with the vision of developing technology, education, and creative economy in Indonesia, especially in the field of robotics," said Chairman of the Indonesian Robotics Association (PRSI) Wahyu Hidayat after meeting Vice President Gibran Rakabuming Raka at the Vice Presidential Palace, Tuesday (20/5/25).

He also added that this activity would be a strategic momentum to encourage the young generation's interest in science and technology, while promoting Solo as a center of innovation and technology destination at the global level.
